Mr. Hibachi

Creating the belief in a magical restaurant

Mr. Hibachi offers a dining experience that customers have come to enjoy with their friends and family. Being in a high traffic area, the restaurant wanted to increase and maintain a higher and constant stream of revenue.

Sometimes a new brand goes through different iterations, inching towards the perfect fit. Other times, it’s instant – an idea coming through already fully formed that just seems too good to pass up. Our background in branding and design gives us many years of experience in this area when inspiration hits.

Developing a new B2C brand

We wanted something friendly and approachable, the kind of brand people would be happy to dine and enjoy with their families. And we wanted something that helped immediately link the brand to a level of professionalism in their industry, but without being so specific that it limited their future growth.

Changing the logo helped the customer’s perception of the brand. The brand wants to avoid conveying an amateur dining experience. Instead, they wanted to change how their current and new customers saw their brand. Additionally, this was one of the first steps that allowed the company to use their new logo with ease on printed and digital promotions using different stylization that pushes the emerging restaurant into the modern age.

Building a digital home

Further improvements involved recreating the website. This involved updating prices for customers and creating a landing page for first time and returning customers. By bringing in a professional photographer, this helped showcase the delicious food. The site itself is built in Squarespace and utilizes ChowNow to help complete online to-go orders which accounts for the brands additional line of revenue.

Copywriting is one of the most important factors in any website. While your visual identity does communicate the core of your brand, you can only go so far without some words to back it up.

Because people do read what’s on your site – especially when they’re getting serious about contacting you. But equally as important are the search engines that read your websites, looking for specific things that determine how well you rank. Whether we’re starting from scratch or putting the finishing touches on your own content, we make sure it engages both – simple as that.

The Future

We’ll be continuing to assist Mr. Hibachi with updating and managing the online presence – we know they can handle the day-to-day bits on their own, but we’re always here to assist with anything bigger.

Our projects with them continues to grow. We create banners, printed stands, menu concepts, and digital promotions for them to help generate new customer leads.
